Shenandoah, Essex/South Page and Fremont-Mills will all open the baseball postseason on the road while Sidney will play a neutral site contest.
TABOR – The battle for first place in the Corner Conference didn’t go the way of the Fremont-Mills Knights, Tuesday, June 25, as they fell 5-2 and 11-1 to Stanton.
COUNCIL BLUFFS – Stanton scored both of its runs in the sixth inning, but they weren’t nearly enough in an 8-2 loss to Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson.
SHENANDOAH – Michael Shull and Nathan Lindsay hit fourth inning home runs to give Clarinda the lead and the Cardinals pulled away from there for a 9-3 win over Shenandoah, Tuesday, Jun 25.
SHENANDOAH – The Shenandoah Fillies scored all of their runs in one inning and Delanie Voshell gave up just two hits in a 5-2 win over Clarinda, Tuesday, June 25.
GLENWOOD – Glenwood scored two runs on a passed ball and another on a groundout in a three-run third inning that was the difference in a 4-2 win over Shenandoah softball, Monday, June 24.
GRISWOLD – Kendall Reed gave up just one unearned run over seven innings and the Fremont-Mills bats put together a three-run sixth lifting the Knights to a 3-1 win over Griswold, Monday, June 24.
