Shenandoah graduate Kealey Anderson has had an excellent start to her college volleyball career.
The Iowa Central Community College freshman was named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Division II Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week, Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Anderson had a team-high 97 kills from Aug. 22 to Sept. 1, the period recognized with the award.
Through Wednesday’s match, Anderson has 103 kills, 3.81 per set, and is hitting .285. Her 3.81 kills per set leads the conference. She also has 81 digs and 17 blocks. She has started all eight matches for the Tritons, who are ranked 13th in the country.
The Tritons are based in Fort Dodge and are 7-1 going into a weekend tournament in Rochester, Minnesota.
