SIDNEY – Garett Phillips and Brett Gruber combined to hold down Griswold’s bats and the Sidney Cowboys earned their third Corner Conference win of the season 9-2, Thursday, June 13.

The Cowboys ended with 11 hits with eight starters recording at least one. Phillips, Cole Stenzel and Cale Phillips had two each.

Stenzel drove in three runs and scored twice. Justis Hayes drove in a pair of runs to help the Cowboys improve to 3-5 overall and 3-2 in the Corner Conference.
