TABOR – Eli Owen scored 20 points, including four triples, leading Fremont-Mills to a 62-30 win over Essex/South Page, Friday, Jan. 4.
The Trojans kept the game close early, trailing just 10-7 after the first period. The Knights would respond, though, outscoring the Trojans 21-6 in the second quarter and then 19-7 in the third to gain a sizable cushion.
Tristan Frank scored a season-best 14 points and Mason McClarnon added seven as Essex/South Page fell to 1-9 overall and 1-7 in the Corner Conference.
The Knight defense led the way holding down Essex/South Page’s top scorers. Daniel Ohnmacht scored just three points, Trent Radley had one and Colton Thornburg didn’t score.
Mason Vanatta added 11 points and James Switzer scored 10 as Fremont-Mills improved to 5-4 overall and 5-3 in the conference.
