STANTON – The Stanton Vikings clinched the Corner Conference championship and head coach Kevin Blunt earned his 400th career win as the Vikings downed Essex/South Page 64-29, Thursday, Jan. 31.

The Trojans trailed just 14-6 after one quarter, but the Vikings scored 26 points in the second period to pull away.

Colton Thornburg led the Trojans with 10 points as Essex/South Page fell to 1-15 overall and 1-12 in the Corner Conference.

Trent Radley added eight for the Trojans.

Stanton stayed unbeaten at 18-0 and 13-0 in conference play with the win.

Donnie Weis led four Vikings in double figures with 23 points.
