TABOR –Fremont-Mills baseball lost by a large margin to a strong opponent, Wednesday, June 12.
St. Albert was the third team in three non-conference games to hand Fremont-Mills a lopsided defeat, this one came by a score of 17-0.
James Switzer had the only Knight hit in four innings as Fremont-Mills used four pitchers to get through the Falcon bats.
St. Albert scored eight runs in the first inning, three in the second and six in the third to win the game early by the run-rule.
The Knights started a trio of eighth graders and two of them saw time on the mound late in the rout.
The Knights dropped to 4-3 with the loss, with all three losses coming in non-conference play.
The Falcons improved to 7-8 and ended a four-game losing streak with the win.
