Competing as the only Iowa team in the field, the Cowboys finished with three in the top eight to score 39 points, beating out runner-up St. Joe Christian's 59.

Jorgenson finished in 17 minutes, 24 seconds winning for the fourth time in as many races this season. He was 16 seconds better than Mound City’s Lane Zembles.

Noah’s teammate and brother Cole Jorgenson finished fifth in 19:56 with Storm Barrett taking eighth in 20:57.

Kyle Beam and Connery Humpries completed the scoring for the Cowboys, taking 14th and 20th. Dane Moyer was Sidney’s sixth and final runner.

Savannah Hall was the first of three Cowgirls to cross the finish line, taking fifth in 24:50. Danica Laumann and Grace Zack also ran for the Cowgirls, finishing 21st and 26th.
