SHENANDOAH – The Essex girls and Fremont-Mills boys golf teams earned Corner Conference dual wins, Monday, April 15.

The Fremont-Mills boys shot a 235 to edge the host Trojans by five strokes.

The Knights had the top three scores of the round with Cooper Langfelt taking medalist honors with a 45. Jake Malcom was runner-up with a 51 and Dylan Chambers fired a 54 for the Knights. Caden Slader was the final Knight to compete and shot an 85.

All six Essex golfers were in the middle and within eight strokes of each other. Philip Franks and Colton Thornburg both shot a 57 to lead the Trojans.

Essex’s final two scores came from Tucker Hadden and Wesley Johnson, who both shot a 63.

Daniel Ohnmacht shot a 64 and Andrew Hammargren a 65 to complete Essex’s lineup.

The Essex girls shot a 230 to win the conference dual over a Fremont-Mills team that had just two athletes.

Essex’s Lexi Bunison earned medalist honors with a 52, four shots better than teammate Jessie Jones.

Essex’s other two scores came from Camryn Chambers with a 60 and Ainsley Byers’ 62.

Allison Johnson shot a 73 and Mackenzie Rocha an 84 to complete Essex’s lineup.

Sierra Schebaum led Fremont-Mills with a 61. Lillian Mahaney added a 68.
