The Fremont-Mills Knights put together a strong defensive performance, Friday, Feb. 7 in a 62-14 win over Griswold.
The win ended a three-game losing streak for the Knights.
Fremont-Mills started quickly, leading 21-2 after the first quarter. The lead was extended to 42-7 by halftime.
Kaelynn Driskell made six 3-point shots in leading Fremont-Mills with 24 points. She added four steals.
Teagan Ewalt made an additional three triples and scored 11 points.
Kaylee Wright added six points and seven rebounds. Courtney Goodman scored five points and contributed seven assists for the Knights.
Fremont-Mills improved to 9-10 overall and completed Corner Conference play with a 6-4 mark.
Griswold fell to 2-16 overall and 1-8 in the conference. Hope Ogg led the Tigers with four points.
