ESSEX – The Sidney Cowgirls earned a road win in Corner Conference play, Tuesday, Sept. 11, 25-11, 25-13 and 25-10 over Essex.

The Cowgirls finished with 46 kills as a team and hit .375 with Camryn McClintock and Makenna Jarosz both finishing with double figure kills.

McClintock led the Cowgirls with 15 kills on just 21 swings while Jarosz put away 10 winners. Kelsey Hobbie added nine as Sidney improved to 14-2 overall and 3-0 in the Corner Conference.

Olivia Larsen handed out 36 assists for the Cowgirls. Jaden Daffer led the way in the back row with seven digs, one more than McClintock for the team lead.

Hobbie finished with four aces and Daffer added three as the team finished with 10.

The Trojanettes fell to 1-14 overall with the loss, 1-2 in the conference.
