two-car accident in Shenandoah

Both drivers and a passenger were injured in a two-car accident at about 10:40 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 22 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Airport/Nishna Road. According to the Shenandoah Police Department, Brian Johnson, 57, of Shenandoah was driving a 2014 Ford pickup westbound on Nishna Road and collided with Jerry Smithberg, 77, of Red Oak driving a 2000 Pontiac southbound on Highway 59. Michael Archer, 28, of Red Oak was a passenger of Smithberg. All were taken to Shenandoah Medical Center by ambulance with injuries.
