The March 28 filing deadline has passed and 11 citizens seek election to a county office in the November 6 General Election.
These candidates will be narrowed down to representatives for their parties in the Primary Election held on June 5 before opposing party candidates face each other on November 6.
In Fremont County the seats up for election and candidates for each seat are as follows.
County Recorder-Two Republicans have filed for this seat: Jennifer L. McAllister (incumbent) and Wendy L. Stenzel.
County Treasurer-Incumbent Alise Snyder (Republican) runs unopposed.
County Attorney-Republican Naeda Elliott runs for this position unopposed, and if elected, will be shared with Mills County.
County Supervisors (two seats)-seven hopefuls are vying for the two open supervisor positions. Republican incumbents Randy Hickey and Earl Hendrickson are competing with Republicans Rodney Burge and Dustin Sheldon. LeRoy Vrbsky, Dale E. Kirkpatrick and Peter E. Johnson are the Democratic candidates.
