Murder suspect, Toby McCunn has been granted a Stand Your Ground Hearing for July 10. McCunn was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on April 22.

The Shenandoah Police Department received a 911 call earlier that morning regarding a shooting that had taken place at 901 Manti Street in Shenandoah. Josh Jordan, 33, was found dead at the residence. Witnesses who called 911 and reported the shooting identified the shooter as McCunn.

McCunn plead not guilty in a written arraignment. Later, his attorneys filed motions for a change of venue which were denied. His original trial was scheduled for June 25, but is now scheduled for August 5.
