Fremont County held their first Private Pesticide Applicators training class of the season on Dec. 14. Forty-eight pesticide applicators were in attendance at The American Legion in Sidney. The majority of the applicators were from Fremont County but also in attendance were applicators from Page, Mills and Pottawattamie Counties. Aaron Saeugling, Field Agronomist and Jim Rogers, Ag Specialist both with Iowa State University were on-site for the training. Also in attendance was Woody Wright, Pesticide Investigator with the IDALS Pesticide Bureau. Fremont County Extension and Outreach will be offering one more training class on February 27, 2019 at 6:30pm and will be held again at The American Legion in Sidney.
